A painting for the Selma Meyer lecture theatre. Extraordinary doctor and pioneer honoured.
<< After the Konrad Henkel lecture hall, which is decorated with two paintings by the DĂĽsseldorf painter Ulrich Erben, the new Selma Meyer lecture hall is the second to be furnished with a painting made for the purpose. "The Queen" is the name of the work painted for this place and purpose, donated by Meral Alma and tailored to the situation in the lecture hall with its 200 x 265 cm. (...) "For me, the closed eyes represent the grace of this powerful figure. She withdraws a little, but still penetrates the whole room," Alma describes her intention. >>
